Check Point Authorized Training

About Pentesec

Pentesec are the most technically accredited Check Point Partner in the world and the current ‘European Partner of the Year’.

Not all training is equal, and at Pentesec we aren’t satisfied unless we’re exceeding expectations.

To be a Pentesec trainer, you need more than knowledge and experience. Our trainers spend most of their working time on site with customers, delivering projects, fixing issues and learning new tricks and tips.

They’re certified Check Point Masters, at the top of their field. They work with Check Point R&D to shape new and upcoming technology, suggesting new features and passing on customer feedback to the people that create the solutions you’re being trained on.

We take the standard Check Point course ware and build our own in-house labs using modern hardware to ensure trainees have a smooth experience when completing each module. Our engineers deliver the course interactively, adapting the content to fit new changes and discoveries as they occur.

Every hotfix and update Check Point release can cause changes which won’t be reflected in standard courses for at least a year. We want our delegates to pass their exam, but we also want them to feel they’ve got the most up to date knowledge and can really get to grips with their Check Point solution.

We want you to know if something is about to change, or important features are coming that might benefit your business. That way you’re not just gaining a basic certificate, you’re gaining a lasting understanding of Check Point’s development pathway and how you can leverage that.

What can I expect from a Pentesec Course?

Prior to the course commencing, a member of our team will be in touch to ensure that all delegates have been issued with the prerequisites and are able to access their course ware.

When you arrive at the Pentesec Training Centre in Stuart House you will be greeted and introduced to your trainer and shown how to access the Pentesec labs.

We provide everything you’ll need, including a Pentesec ruck sack containing a t-shirt, pen and notepad, some sweets, and even a mug for your tea and coffee!

Lunch and refreshments are included during our courses. On the middle day of our 3-day courses we like to invite delegates for an evening meal and some drinks with the wider Pentesec team to offer extra support and network opportunities.

We try to maximise every moment of your time here in Peterborough, and delegates are welcome to ask questions and request more information throughout the days.

At the end of the course we provide a certificate of completion and advice on taking the official Check Point examination if it has not already been purchased or booked.

Once you leave, you’re more than welcome to reach out and ask questions, whatever you need, we’re here to help.
